WE SUPPORT FRANK

Woman
Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth
Maryland's Third District

I am proud to endorse my friend, Frank Thorp, to be your next Alderman in Ward 8. I have known and relied on Frank for years as a friend and an advisor. Now that I'm in Congress, I rely on his experience as a former Navy Rear Admiral and I call on him regularly for national security and defense issues. He will bring that type of strategic leadership, vision, organizational skills to Eastport and to the City Council where it is needed the most. Frank will be with you every step of the way to ensure that we can protect and preserve Eastport's charm, its maritime history, its culture and its economy, not just for our neighbors here but for generations to come. So please get out and vote on November 4th for my friend Frank.

"What could be better than a native Eastporter, USNA graduate and Admiral, someone who knows our Eastport way of life and treasures our waterfront, serving us on the Annapolis City council? I can’t think of a better representative than Frank Thorp who is all of these things. He is also a listener, a doer and a problem solver who will bring thoughtful representation for Eastporters, our maritime history and our waterfront challenges with sea level rise to our City. "

I endorse Frank Thorp for Ward 8 alderman because of his respect and commitment to the entire community. I've been especially impressed by the time Frank has invested in the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis, along with his enthusiasm for moving forward with the Community Neighborhood Initiative in order to provide all residents the opportunity to live with dignity. Frank does the hard work to learn, and he listens. His outreach to me on numerous occasions to discuss the community and his responses in all three African American-focused candidate forums shows an understanding and respect for the Black community that is exactly what we need on the Annapolis City Council.
