City Council Meeting 9.29

It was interesting to hear, in person, a lot of public testimony at last night’s city council meeting, especially on the topics of Short Term Rentals and Accessory Dwelling Units. These topics are very important to Eastport. I continue to hear our neighbors engage on the pro’s and con’s of both. We must ensure that resident’s concerns about the fabric of our neighborhoods are the number one consideration as we address these issues. You can watch the City Council meeting at:


Also important last night was the Anne Arundel County Public School Board briefing that discussed moving students from Eastport Elementary to Georgetown East. You can watch the briefing at:


I oppose this initiative and encourage you to join me and attend the next public hearing on October 13.
